Healthy Food, Healthy City

Introducing the basic concept of sustainability, students explore human and ecosystem health.  Through puppetry and hands-on activities, they explore how the food we eat affects our bodies and our environment.  Students learn about food systems from seed to compost and learn the importance of balanced nutrition.  As a single session, this program focuses on nutrition.  Through puppet theater, vegetable observation, and a vegetable & fruit art activity, students are motivated to intake more vegetables and fruits for their health.
